The protesters were holding placards and banner inscribed slogans in favour of their demands. They also chanted slogans against the provincial government and authorities concerned for failing to recover their kidnapped colleagues. Addressing the protestors on the occasion, the Labour Union provincial chairman Iqbal said that some of his associates were kidnapped from Badhbair area on 31 January 2012, but the government was failed to recover despite the lapse of about a year. Similarly, the abducted workers of Gomalzam dam were also recovered, he added.
"Intelligence agencies can trace the abductors easily, if they try to recover them. Iqbal also criticised the incumbent ANP-led provincial government for poor law and order situations in the province, price rocketing and increasing unemployment ratio.
